3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
Inhalation: Irritating to mucus membranes and upper respiratory tract.
Eye and Skin: Causes eye irritation. Prolonged contact can cause skin irritation.
4. FIRST-AID PROCEDURES
Inhalation: Remove subject to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is labored, give oxygen. Seek
medical attention.
Eye and Skin Contact: Flush eyes with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. In case of skin contact, flush the
area with copious amounts of water. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Seek medical attention if necessary.
5. FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES
Extinguishing Media: Use extinguishing media appropriate to surrounding fire conditions. Use Water Spray, Carbon Dioxide,
Dry Chemical Powder or Appropriate Foam.
Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: May emit toxic fumes under fire conditions. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus
and appropriate clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
If spilled, first contain the spill. Wear chemical safety goggles, rubber boots, heavy gloves and other appropriate protective
apparel. Clean up the spill with absorbent material and place in closed containers for disposal. Wash the spill site
thoroughly. Ventilate area before returning to the spill site.
7. EXPOSURE CONTROL (PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT)
Inhalation: May be harmful if inhaled in large quantities. Use in a well ventilated area with caution.
Eye Contact: Direct contact will result in irritation. Wear chemical safety eyewear for eye protection.
Skin Contact: Prolonged and repeated contact with product may cause irritation. Wear rubber gloves when handling this
material.
Respiratory Protection: None required if good ventilation is maintained. Otherwise wear an MSHA/NIOSH approved
respirator for your protection.
